APEX HostMate started in 2018 when a small group of Oracle developers grew tired of wrestling with generic hosts that didn't understand Oracle Database or APEX. Setting up ORDS, configuring schemas and keeping versions current was taking longer than building the apps themselves.

So we built the platform we always wanted: instant APEX workspaces, fully managed Oracle databases, and engineers who actually speak APEX. Today we host thousands of applications across nine regions — from solo developers shipping their first app to enterprises running mission-critical systems.
